Nurturing a glowing career as a producer before the DJ spot, Mike Candys brought to life his classical instrumental mastery within the studio taking hues from W.A Mozart initially and spanning across a brilliant fresh take from the likes of Axwell, Nick Romero and Bingo Players. Signed to Sirup Music, Kontor, Doityourself and the USA’s Ultra Records shakes up the demand seamlessly. Over his time Michael has initiated remix heaven for Arash featuring Sean Paul, Example, Lil Jon featuring LMFAO and Inna featuring FloRida creating the hype around the talent that is well acclaimed. Charted incredibly were Insomnia, One Night in Ibiza, 2012 (If The World Would End) and Together Again. The last year tallied an epic three officially charted singles in Germany while the globe has voted him #86 DJ in the monumental DJ Mag awards in 2012. He is now a Top 100 DJ since 3 years in a row and was voted on #85 in 2014.
Touring throughout Europe from Russia to Spain and around again, Mike Candys hasn’t slowed down the tempo, awakening crowds who passionately hit the hot spots. Its bills across Motion and Energy in Switzerland, The White Festival, Temptation and Electric Mountain that have ignited stand out sets alongside fellow artists Axwell, David Guetta and solid on-air supporter Tiesto who featured original track Children featuring Jack Holiday. The clubs are also not short of a taste of Candys ripping to shreds Ibiza’s Space Club and Papaya Club in Zrce.

Es war ein kometenhafter Aufstieg den Mike Candys in den letzten beiden Jahren hinlegte. Erst erhielt seine Debutsingle „One Night in Ibiza“ Gold in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz, dann toppte die Follow-up-Single „2012 (If The World Would End) das Ganze noch mit Gold-Auszeichnungen in Österreich und Deutschland sowie Platin in der Schweiz.
Seitdem gehört Mike Candys zu den wichtigsten und erfolgreichsten Electro House Produzenten in Europa und der ganzen Welt. Er produziert nicht nur fantastische elektronische Musik sondern auch seine Auftritte, bei denen er mehrheitlich eigene Tracks, Remixes und Bootlegs spielt und mit der signifikanten Smiley-Maske auftritt, sind legendär und begeistern die Crowd auf dem ganzen Globus.
Der Erfolg seiner Tracks ließ auch andere Musikgrößen auf den Schweizer aufmerksam werden und so produzierte oder remixte er bereits Lil Jon feat. LMFAO, Example, Lucenzo & Pitbull, Inna & Flo Rida, Peter Heppner, Rosenstolz und DJ Antoine.
Seine internationale Reputation spiegelt sich auch in verschiedenen Awards und Nominierungen wieder. So war sein Debutalbum “Smile” als “Best Dance Album National” bei den jährlichen Swiss Music Awards nominiert. 2011 und 2012 folgten Nominierungen bei den Swiss Music Awards und den Swiss Nightlfe Awards. Seine größte Aufstellung bis dato dürfte die bei den MTV European Music Award 2012 gewesen sein. Persönlich bedeutet dem Produzenten, DJ und Remixer der Einzug in die Top100 DJs des DJ Mag, der wichtigsten internationalen Rangliste für DJs, die er 2012 auf #86 enterte. Im Jahr 2014 wurde Mike Candys auf Platz 85 der Top 100 DJs von DJ Mag gewählt und ist somit bereits seit 3 Jahren in Folge einer der weltweit 100 besten DJs.
Auch einer seiner ersten Streiche, “Insomnia“ hat mittlerweile Platin in der Schweiz erreicht. Aktuell ist Mike Candys beim Fun Radio Best European DJ Award mit Avicii, Nicky Romero, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren und Hardwell nominiert.
Der Mastermind betreibt zudem auch seit Jahren sein erfolgreiches Label Wombat Music, auf dem die meisten seiner Tracks erscheinen.
